Practicing guitar

The relationship between me an guitars in general have been on/off throughout the years. But lately I discovered the Yamaha Revstar RSS20 in this flashy green colour and fell in love with it immediately. Do you sometimes have the feeling of sensing an emotional connection with an instrument? I have that with my piano and now for this guitar as well which keeps me motivated to play!

Sharing some videos here. As I will compose my own music for my game, I still got to learn lots of things. I got 15 years of piano experience however so applying the music theory I learnt with the piano on the guitar is a piece of cake.

Still, the guitar differs in some areas though. On the piano I’m able to see the notes while playing which is a bit more difficult on the guitar. Also tying connections to the notes strings is far more challenging than just pressing keys that harmonise with each other. It is indeed a different kind of instrument (duh) but in the core yet the same. Oh, standing while playing is MILES more fun than just sitting. I love instruments…
